December Happening 4 - Hatyai Trip

Hello readers! Just came back from 3 days 2 nights Hatyai Trip! Allow me to briefly summarize to you on my vacation to Hatyai...Approximately 5-6 hours bus journey but since its the weekend the whole journey could takes up to 7 hours due to massive jam...

Shopping
- One pirated Polo t-shirt for 250 baht (RM25) but you can lower it down to 180 baht if you're really good in bargaining...
- Purse, wallet and handbag made from Stingray were also one of the popular one in Hatyai...
- Cashew nuts, Pistachio nuts etc a must buy too!
- Zebra products very worth it to buy as its much cheaper compared to Malaysia...

Food
- Had a 240 baht dinner at Log Terrace Restaurant on the 1st night...The food was ok...I guess we're just paying for the cafe ambiance...Super spicy TomYam soup! Slurrpp...
- Had a 150 baht (RM15) buffet lunch at Lee Garden Hotel...Very worth the price with the varieties of food since you can no longer get that price for a buffet lunch in Kl anymore...
- Tea time snacks at Floating Market...Crispy prawn crackers, Slice potato, Fish snacks etc...20 baht (RM2) for each! Fried Chicken Drumstick for 40 baht (RM4) can be found everywhere...
- 2nd night dinner at Mcd! Tried their Samurai Pork Burger and Big Mac...Their beef patties tasted so nice and tender...In Hatyai, pork and beef go 1st than chicken...Ordered medium set that comes with a large size portion...Haha...No Rm5.95 set anyway...

Attraction & Scenery
- Hmm..Nothing much on this as its mostly temples...
- Went up all the way to the hill to catch a glimpse of  the "Stainless Steel Pagoda"

Transportation
- Very convenient "tuk tuk" car to drive you all around the town...Will only cost up the most 20 baht (RM2) per head...I managed to bargain it to 15 baht (RM1.50) anyway

Weather
- It was drizzling through out the 3 days but I don't really feel the heat nor stuffy as compared to Malaysia or Singapore...Very cooling indeed...

Accommodation
- Green View Hotel...Walking distance to the morning market and "tuk tuk" car can be seen around...
- Maybe I was too tired and so, I had a good sleep on both nights...Ample of parking spaces too...

A view of Floating Market (Popular Attraction in Hatyai)...Seriously very very crowded...Could hardly squeeze in to buy food...

It was super jam on the way back to KL...Reached home around 12.30am...Read on the newspaper on the next day of another bus tragedy that killed 20 over Thai's at Simpang Pulai, Cameron Highland...Haiz...Thank God my family and I managed to reach home safely...
